There are games to be played, so the GameBytes Show Team has ASSEMBLED! (Except for Jeremy.) What games have we played, For Great Justice? Well: LeGrande starts us off with Shovel Knight Treasure Trove in general, and Plague of Shadows in particular, Mega Man X, and the delights of a hacked SNES Classic. Dale continues with Heavenly Sword and Endless Space and Legend (that’s TWO Endless games). Jerod caps us off with Dreamfall Chapters (check our Twitch.tv channel for an ongoing playthrough) and various Jerody things! Get in, get out, get GameBytes and get gud.

Everyone shut down the presses and stop doing stuff! It’s our final news show of the year, and, well, there’s still news! FCC votes down net neutrality, Crytek sues over Star Citizen, new game rumors and announcements, and a bunch of developers pre-emptively exculpate themselves for their perceived sins. Also, get some money out of your PS3 Phat, and the generosity of Microsoft’s PR department. Then, we cover new releases, some free updates, and in honor of the end of the year we discuss some of our favorite end sequences in vdieo games! The weather is cold, cold, cold, but video games are HOT HOT HOT. (Reverse those if you’re in the southern hemisphere.) Let’s warm our hands and our hearts while basking in the glow of good conversation about the games we played this week. LeGrande has been straight-up murdering people in Dishonored 2, and we all learn how to make Skyrim on Switch 300% better. Dale attacks with 1 MILLION TANKS. (So many tanks.) Finally, Jeremy tried out the Monster Hunter World trial, and discusses its quality-of-life improvements and one of his biggest “wow” moments of 2017. Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. Jeremy also jumps into 2064: Read Only Memories and gives his overview of the GameBytes Show 2017 Best Vita Game That Didn’t Come to Vita… that DID come to Vita!

We illuminate you on lots of freebies and game updates, as well as a sweet sale at Origin. Then we take it on ourselves to list the game awards categories the government doesn’t want you to know about!
