The GameBytes Show returns again to continue our mission to keep you entertained and informed about video games and video game happenings of the week! Evo is over, Valve drops the banhammer, Kingdom Hearts 3 gets a release window, Battlefront 2 gets beta detals, and gamers discover new endings that were never intended. We also run through the new releases, and then discuss our relationship with video game endings. Join us for another rollicking show! Whee!

The GameBytes Show once again unites like a giant robot made of lions, except it’s a giant robot made of news, new releases, and video game discussion! SGDQ is over, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds makes some bold claims (but then walks them back), Destiny and Warframe have a lot in common, Duelyst gets a new publisher, and Doomfist finally exists! What will be the next video game TV adaptation on Netflix? And what’s the lamest MMO mystery ever to be solved? We discuss extreme measures we’ve taken in games to unlock stuff.

Former cohost (but forever-friend) Wesley Livesay makes his semi-biannual appearance on the podcast to join in talk of the games we’ve been playing. Wesley has tried his hand at both Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds and Titanfall 2. Jeremy picked up Party Hard Go, played [REDACTED] and learned some Russian, and America’d it up with Rise of Nations. LeGrande got a new monitor, and the Diablo 3 Necromancer looks pretty good on it. Also: sweet bro times.

In this patriotic episode, Jeremy and LeGrande stand and salute the video game news of the week (after a brief pit-stop at F2P mobile games), and hit the important topics. We cover SGDQ 2017, theSNES Classic, Mass Effect Andromeda DLC, Nintendo Switch streaming, and naughty gummies. We also highlight some new releases and your PS+ and Xbox Live Games With Gold for July 2017. Then, we look forward to the last half of 2017 to highlight the games we’re looking forward to!

In what is surely our bleakest episode, Jeremy plays the new Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire city-building game and declares “everything is meaningless.” However, he recovers from his darkness to help Jerod discuss Secret World Legends, and we hear about the new Titanfall 2 update, as well as The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. Legrande has some new games in his hands!

As prophecy foretold, the GameBytes Show crew is back to set you on the path of knowledge, with the latest in video game news, new releases, and discussion topic! However, in a twist of fate, the news this week is handled by LeGrande, who rolls out possibly our best news segment of all time! Jeremy handles the new releases, and we get the Jerod Picks for the summer Steam Sale. Finally, we discuss some of those delisted video games that the world simply must get back. Do you agree? Tell us on Twitter, and add to the list!

Jeremy and LeGrande do a tag-team combo on video games this week, discussing what’s been on our gaming agenda! LeGrande’s bluff is called on Heroes of the Storm, but he also notes the contrast between Battlefield 1 and ABZÛ, enjoying both. Jeremy flushes Moon Hunters out into the open, and also gets to talk about the Battletech closed beta.

We’re coming down off all that hype from E3 with the “regular old” video game news you’re accustomed to… and we totally BRING IT. A quick recap of the big takeaways from E3, and then we jump right into the latest from 2016’s coolest franchises, a big loss for the GTA5 modding community, Atari gets back into hardware, and some burning questions about Mario are finally answered. We spend a bit of time in new releases, and then we wrap it up with a discussion of E3 vaporware and disappointments of yesteryear.

E3 has happened, and it’s time to stand to account. Jerod, LeGrande, and Jeremy run through the major press conferences of E3 week, and discuss the good (and the not-so-good) of video gaming’s high holy week. Which footage and announcements piqued our interest at the expo in 2017? Listen in and compare your notes with us!

What time is it? It’s GAMES time! On this episode, LeGrande takes up the Mass Effect Andromeda Mantle. He compares his experience with Dale, who has completed his journey as Pathfinder and gives his final thoughts on it. Dale also digs into the Tamriel-themed CCG, The Elder Scrolls: Legends. Jeremy riffs on that, and continues the games he’s been playing… He played Cave Story+ on Switch for his first time ever, and also delves deep into the complex systems of outer space 4X game Endless Legend 2. There’s also some unintelligible whistling.
